Acclaim Hotel Calgary Airport

This hotel is awesome. My sister and I stayed here because she had to be to the airport the next day. The location is excellent for those who are flying and for those who just want an great place to stay. It exceeded our expectations. Little extras that you would have to pay for in other Hotels were included here and the restaurant was very good also. This Hotel has everything you need for and enjoyable and relaxing stay .

Great room... comfy bed... Tv in bathroom... very modern... great thought put into room!!

I expected the cleanliness of the hotel as it's pretty much brand new. The surprisingly nice part was how quiet it was given the location immediately north of the airport; any hotels I've stayed at south of the airport are understandably noisy with air traffic. The second part I enjoyed was how dark and cool I could make the room. I often feel like the temperature control in hotel rooms are a placebo and really don't work. My dinner at the attached restaurant was very good. Will definitely book here again. Good value. The area is industrial only, don't expect to be able to walk and shop. Car or cab necessary.

My Wife and I decided to stay at the Acclaim because it had easy access to any part of Calgary and Banff. We dfound the rooms to habve a very contemporary design. The out door hottubs on the roof were a highlight. Staf was very curteous and helpf

There are alot of nice things to say about this hotel. 3 minutes from the airport yet soundproof, free shuttle service to and from. General appearance of the building is average, the lobby is attractive and the room was amazing. New, ultra modern, super comfortable, and extremely clean, free DVDs, free bottled water and large array of free toileteries. The nicest room I have ever booked in its price range in North America and most would consider it inexpensive. Very affordable for anyone, this is a great overnight hotel for the travelling businessman, connected to a fine restaurant, great atmosphere, delicious food, friendly effecient service and inexpensive. If you are staying for more than a night, you would need a car, there is nothing to do in the airport area, there is no view from the room and no fridge in the room but I will definitely stay there again and refer it to others. Also ideal for a romantic getaway. Secluded and private with all the comforts of home.

Travelling from Edmonton to visit the Calgary Zoo and only staying one night The Acclaim was a great spot. The hotel was clean and service was friendly. The decor and fixtures are quite nice as well. The restaurant was a real treat. If you have never heard of a bread bar well I should tell you that you can choose from a few different breads and spreads and then you toast the bread on an open grill and you did this yourself! Way cool! The wine tasting was great. The roof top hot tubs were sweet even in the misty rain. It is very close to the airport so there are no stores or other restaurants close by. The price was reasonable. Have fun and don't forget to write reviews on the hotels you stay in. It is helpful to all of us. oh yes I almost forgot about the TV in the bathroom for you fellas.lol

Very impressed with the hotel. Was very modern and bright. The room was excellent. Was very impressed with the amount of light. Room was clean and comfortable. Was also very impressed with the modern amenities (flat screen, wireless, coffee machine, eco friendly lights). Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Calgary. As a plus, very little noise from the airport considering how close to the airport it is.

Our luggage had missed our flight and wasn't coming in until well after checkout time. The staff were ver understanding and extended our checkout time to 2:00 to allow us to get our luggage and change into clean clothes. Thanx to the amazing staff and hotle management at the Acclaim!!!

Hotel is very clean and modern. Great amenities. Highly recommended. They should arrange for adjacent restaurant's charges to be billed to the hotel, or at least offer full breakfast (at extra charge) on site.

Just a few pointers! - Easy access to the airport and highway. - Quiet neighborhood. - In-house restaurant. Could not fault my experience!

It was clean, modern and is the closes hotel to the Calgary airport.

Excellent place to stay. Very clean with all the amenities. Great restaurant hooked to the Hotel. Free DVD movies for the kids with a DVD player in the room. We stayed in a larger room. Beds are comfortable and the rates are very good. The staff are awesome and they really care about making you feel at home. Hats off to all the staff from the people behind the front desk to the Housekeepers, thank you very much for a good two days. Also, thanks to the staff in Pancini's who made us feel good at meal time and better during happy hour!

Although it seems out of the way, it is very close to the Airport and to the North End of Calgary. The Airport Shuttle seems to be running all the time, which indicates word has traveled fast for this Hotel's benefits. The Shuttle service and Pancini's Restaurant are second to none. Very Cordial staff and extremely helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. High speed wireless is good and the news papers are always available. CrossIron Mills Mall is not too far away and the expressways make it easy to get around. Excellent Hotel not just because of the name, but because of the Staff.

This is the 4th time I've stayed there. It continues to have all the things I'm looking for: very friendly staff, always have my reservation ready and correct; convenient shuttle to and from the airport; clean, comfortable rooms with wonderful pillows and bed. As an added benefit - the showerhead options. This year the pool is open (didn't have time to check it out) and also the restaurant. I only stopped in for breakfast and they were short-staffed. I had the buffet to save time - it was ok.

This hotel appeared to offer the best value (quality vs cost) option of the hotels near the Calgary airport. The surrounding neighborhood is fine but it is what one would expect near an airport. Seemed safe enough. The hotel itself was quite new; everything was in excellent condition. No food seemed to be offered in the hotel itself but the adjoining restaurant was tasty.w

New "green" hotel in close proximity to airport. Connecting restaurant has good food but is experiencing staff management problems. Failure of 2 staff to report for Sat breakfast left one hostess and one waitress. Ths our breakfast experience lasted 1 hr 45 min.

Absolutely fabulous Hotel. Super convenient location close to Calgary International Airport, 4 minute drive! Superb accommodations with extreme comfort. Convenient in-lobby complimentary computer access. Flight time schedule monitor was especially helpful. Would have liked the roof-top pool/hot-tub open later. Would definitely stay &/or recommend to others.

This was my first venture into booking a hotel on line. I actually reserved two rooms, one for my family and one for my sister's family. The hotel was FIRST RATE! We had driven down from the mountains for an early departure the next day. I was able to drop my rental car off Saturday night, get picked up by the shuttle after 11:00PM and taken back to the airport with my family @5:00AM. Everyone associated with the Hotel was very courteous and friendly. The shuttle drivers also were wonderful. The room was extremely clean and comforable. This hotel's quality was more like a 5-star Hotel than any HI Express, HI, or CI than I've ever stayed in. The surprise was that it was the most inexpensive hotel listed in the area. Our only regret was not having much time to enjoy the place.

Right next to airport but quiet as a mouse! Much closer than other hotels. Beautiful stone shower. Tasty restaurant attached had a bread bar where I got to toast my own bread over a grill and top with various seasoned butter spreads. Shuttle to airport whenever I asked - great service.

This is the second time I've stayed at the Acclaim and it was again a very pleasant experience. The staff was very friendly and always dropped whatever they were doing to assist me. The hotel is relatively new and definitely carries that "new" quality. It is very well maintained and looks both modern and comfortable. My room was very nice - King size bed, desk, flat screen TV, chaise lounge. The shower and tub were impressive as well and the use of complimentary robes is always nice. The only possible negative may be the location but it's a trade off. Very close to the airport it offers ease of access. There aren't many food choices in the immediate vacinity. I was fine eating at Pacini at the hotel but something to consider. Overall, a great hotel that I will stay at whenever in the area and recommend to friends and colleagues.

Needed a hotel to overnight after arriving from London. This hotel is close to airport, offered a courtesy pickup bus which suited us perfectly. Room was big, clean and comfortable .... just needed to tweak a few setting to stop the air conditioning units from waking us after long flight. Would recommend.

Awesome experience. Hotel is great. Attached restaurant is great. Restaurant staff and front desk staff have earned my repeat business. This is my new home away from home. Location is remote. Just make sure you have a car rental.

Very nice as we have experienced before. However, they now have a Pacini restaurant within the building, so there is no longer breakfast served downstairs in the lobby/breakfast area. You do have to pay for it, but it is an Italian restaurant and was VERY yummy for breakfast! I had Apples and Diletto (crepe-like with apple sauce and drizzled with caramel!) yum yum yum! Also, there isn't a pool, so my kids were disappointed, but the TV in the main area and in the bathroom made up for it! I really appreciated the Keurig coffee machine in the room as well. Awesome place to stay, watch for deals as it does get pricey as it fills up!

The hotel is new and clean, but is a small one. only drive about 15 mins from downtown Calgary. The price is ok because you will pay more on other 4 stars hotels with everything is old.

The bath in the bathroom was excellent , the both of us fit in it no problem as it is deep and wide enuff, actually a little wider would have been perfect. There is a rooftop hottub where they supply towels and washrooms right on the rooftop, great view from there on a clear day/ evening if you want a even larger tub. The hotel is a little far away from services but soon they will have a restaurant there for evryones benefit. Nice and quiet while we were there, the Kingsize beds at the Hitlon Garden have sheepskin on them with memory foam under that.

Was really surprised at the nice spread they had for breakfast. Included nice options that were hot. Did not get the requested wake up call. Could have been a disaster but set our cell alarm just in case. Other than that, no complaints.

A bit out of the way - north of terminal, and in the middle of nowhere. BUT - new hotel, comfortable beds, big flat screen TV in the room, free breakfast. Free parking, wired AND wireless Internet in the room. Good if you have a car.

newly built, therefore all facilities clean and modern. fantastic all day breakfast bar roof top spa/pool area in process of being completed when we were there in May 09 but will be a welcome added comfort as not much happening in nearby neighbourhood. Car would be a must. staff helpful and pleasant.

I wanted my first two days in Alberta to be stress free and was a bit anxious about my choice of Hotel.The fears were unfounded as this hotel proved to be a gem. My wife was extremely impressed with the thoughtful details in our room, particularly the vanity mirror and the ipod port. We wanted to take the bed home with us it was so comfortable. Everyone in the hotel was most helpful. If one wants to be picky, the breakfast was missing fruit. Other than that the place was perfect.
